Design FileMaker Pro solutions. The qualified candidate should be able to work with clients and co-workers to assist with a database management system design and specification phase. They then must be able to create a fully functioning FileMaker Pro system from that specification document. A complete understanding of relational database system structure and how that is implemented in FileMaker Pro is necessary for the successful candidate. Knowledge of database objects, analyzing existing databases and developing database documentation is also part of the job. Familiarity with web integration in general, 3rd party REST APIs, and integration of FileMaker database systems with the web via the FileMaker Data API are important skills.
