2024 is a very special year for Claris, as it marks the 25th in-person FileMaker conference that they will be hosting. Breaking a four-year hiatus prompted by the global pandemic, the event previously known as FileMaker DevCon will launch under its new name of Claris Engage.
Being an Apple company, Claris has chosen the Apple Campus and Conference Center in Austin, Texas, to hold this special three-day gathering. With limited spots remaining, we encourage you to register soon as this conference will likely sell out.
This event is a momentous occasion in Claris’ history and Portage Bay, a Claris Platinum Partner, is actively participating in the conference through numerous methods. We’re eager to engage with the Claris community and will be involved in multiple capacities. The FileMaker conference begins on Tuesday, February 6th, with training day course add-ons. Tuesday evening sees the opening of the main conference with the keynote and celebration of Claris Excellence Award winners, followed by the after-party and reception.
The subsequent days, February 7th and 8th, will offer over fifty unique sessions tailored to fuel innovation and shape the future. These sessions cater to both technical and business-oriented interests, providing ample opportunities to network, rekindle friendships, and explore the exhibition booths.
We are excited to be a part of the exceptional lineup of Claris experts speaking at this year’s FileMaker conference. Kate Waldhauser will lead a lively session on Workflow Automation. Using her years of experience, her insistent curiosity, and her analytic side, she will share her expertise to help business decision-makers as well as developers make better choices when it comes to automated workflows.
Leveraging insights from a community poll, Kate will compare the construction of automated workflows using Claris Connect, Claris FileMaker, and leading SaaS products’ automation features, showcasing their intersections and key considerations. As workflow automation rapidly evolves, it’s crucial for developers to grasp the current state. Attend this presentation for cutting-edge market insights and practical guidance on crafting enduring workflows.
The entire team at Portage Bay will be together in Austin and we’re especially excited about that. For Portage Bay, a company rooted in remote work, this gathering marks a significant milestone. After years of virtual interactions, it will be the first time that many of us will get to meet in person.
