Claris Beyond is a free FileMaker user group open to everyone, whose purpose is to expand our expertise by focusing on FileMaker and external integrations such as Claris Connect, REST API integration, or integration via a third-party tool or application. The group provides a space for users of all levels to succeed in our ever-changing digital age.
This FileMaker user group meets monthly through Zoom, on the third Wednesday of each month, from 12pm – 1:30pm Pacific time. (For other time zones, the call begins at 2pm Central, 3pm Eastern, and 8pm British Standard Time.) Join Meetup for free and participate in our upcoming sessions.
Would you like to present a topic to the group? Fill out this Claris Studio form and let us know more about your ideas. We are currently scheduling late summer and into fall.
Vince Mennano with Beezwax will present the latest and greatest version of InspectorPro, a tool for providing advanced diagnostics, analysis, and data visualization to improve collaboration, performance, and insight for FileMaker teams.
Joe Ranne with Portage Bay Solutions will review how we used FFmpeg, an open-source command live tool, to create a multi-faceted and capable live video and audio integration with FileMaker.
Mark Richman with Skeleton Key will review Gloss, a cost-effective, custom solution for uniformly viewing, searching and enhancing the utility of PDFs stored within a FileMaker database.
Jacob Carr with Portage Bay Solutions will review GraphQL, a query language for APIs and a runtime for fulfilling those queries with your existing data. GraphQL provides a complete and understandable description of the data in your API, gives clients the power to ask for exactly what they need and nothing more, makes it easier to evolve APIs over time, and enables powerful developer tools.
