Registration for the annual developers conference for FileMaker and Claris Connect has opened and it will be virtual again this year. While I’ll miss the opportunity for a bit of travel and to see my fellow developers, the Engage Beyond 2021 virtual conference will make it a lot easier for the entire Portage Bay team to participate.

This year, Claris has extended the timeline for Engage Beyond and we’ll be having great learning opportunities all year long.

The initial events that have been announced:

• August 25th – Kickoff keynote with Brad Frietag, CEO of Claris. Click here to register for the keynote

• August 25th – Claris FileMaker Server for Linux, deep dive with Wim Decorte

• September 14th – ‘Idea to Custom App’ seminar with Claris education content manager, Steve Romig. Steve will show ideas submitted by customers and how they can be turned into a custom app in thirty minutes with FileMaker.

I think you’ll really want to register for the keynote so that you can be sure of getting current information about Engage events as they are announced.

An exciting aspect of Engage for those of us at Portage Bay is that Kate Waldhauser, our lead FileMaker developer and Claris Connect guru, is on the Engage Beyond Advisory Committee this year, assisting Claris in making Engage the best conference it can be!
