Dear John, I’m wondering why you didn’t mention the significant limitations of Airtable’s automations: it’s possible to add conditional logic or iterations on a group of steps only once per automation, and you only have one of the two options, if you add conditional logic, you can’t add an iteration; moreover, the conditional logic is limited to “If/Otherwise if” types. This makes it very difficult to manage cases with complex and detailed conditions, as there is a single branch with cascading “Otherwise If” instances. To overcome these major limitations, you can use JavaScript steps or employ multiple automations to manage various scenarios within the same context, but the total number of automations, as stated before, cannot exceed 50. In my view, this restriction is a MAJOR IMPEDIMENT when aiming to develop an application with powerful and sophisticated functionalities. Reply
