At Claris, I’ve watched an organization do what I don’t think any other software platform has done. I mean, what other software platform has had 26 developer conferences, has been around for 40 years, has customers and partners that have been with us for going on three decades? Somebody should write a book because this is a success story in the technology space that breaks many records that are uncomparable. It is a joy to be a part of that. – Julie Sigfrinius, Senior Director – Customer Success, Claris

Portage Bay Solutions had the pleasure yesterday to speak with Julie Sigfrinius, Senior Director – Customer Success at Claris, about her role in planning Claris Engage 2025. It’s a great discussion, including tidbits about:

Our entire Portage Bay team was able to travel to last year’s conference in Austin – and it was the first time many of us had met each other in person. We had a great time connecting and enjoyed the learning and experiences we took away from Claris Engage 2024. Several of us will attend Engage this year as well.

One of our Senior Application Developers, Xandon Frogget, will be a first-time speaker at the conference. His topic will be Setting up a Local LLM for Private FileMaker Integration, which you can get a preview of at next week’s Claris Beyond Meetup.
Julie mentioned the list of speakers and topics will be released any day now. We’re looking forward to seeing it and making plans! Especially since this year’s mobile app will allow for creating our own schedules ahead of time.
Let us know if you’ll be in Austin as well! We’d love to set aside time to meet or catch up, and see how things are going in your world, both in FileMaker and in life.
