We manage 100% of our FileMaker hosting environments, including server monitoring, backup monitoring, data restores (when required), test backup restores, and operating system maintenance.
We work with managed services provider Eugenius to run our private cloud environments where most of our server capacity is hosted. We also utilize AWS for hosting in a wider range of geographic regions when required.


Our Server Maintenance Plan
We manage our own database servers and provide support for our clients who do not have internal IT support. Our Server Maintenance Plan is designed to help ensure that your database application does not experience unexpected downtime, is operating at maximum performance, and can be recovered as efficiently as possible in the event of a disaster.

Our Server Plan
Upon Starting the Server Maintenance Plan
- If desired, we will schedule a Zoom meeting with you or your team to review your disaster recovery plan, backup schedule, and offsite backup policy.
- We will conduct a thorough review of system logs and notifications.
- Your server(s) will be enrolled in our monitoring system to track key metrics such as uptime and disk space usage.
- You will receive detailed documentation of the monitoring setup, backup processes, and notification protocols.
Quarterly Review
- We will conduct a thorough review of server remote access to ensure it is functioning properly. Regular testing is essential, as access may become unavailable due to IP address changes, VPN modifications, or other factors.
- We will review your backup schedules and test the most recent ones to ensure they are complete and reliable. Verifying the usability of backups is a vital component of any disaster recovery plan.
Annual Review & Report
- We will conduct a business review to identify changes that may impact the server environment, such as increased users, evolving security requirements, greater mobile usage, or expanded data storage needs.
- We will compact data files to optimize storage and performance.
- We will assess your current software versions and offer recommendations for potential upgrades, including OS, FileMaker versions, or programming enhancements.
- An annual report detailing our findings and recommendations will be provided, complete with time and cost estimates.
