Claris FileMaker has licensing options to accommodate different user needs and organizational structures. Here is an overview of how FileMaker licensing works:

Claris FileMaker Cloud

• Essentials (5-10 users, 3 apps max) and Standard Plan (5-99 users, 125 apps max)
• Provides flexibility in server resources and billing options
• The licensing and hosting costs are rolled into one, managed by Claris

On Premise & Site Licenses

• Available as an annual subscription, with discounts available for multi-year terms
• On Premise pricing is per user, with a minimum of 5 users
• Site pricing is based on your total number of employees, with a minimum of 25 staff, and can provide additional savings and benefits
• Both options provide a comprehensive solution for organizations with extensive FileMaker use
• Requires you to maintain your own server, or you can hire an outside company such as Portage Bay for hosting and server management.
