Portage Bay specializes in bespoke FileMaker hosting. We work with our managed services provider, Eugenius, to run our private cloud environment where most of our server capacity is hosted. We also utilize AWS for hosting in a wider range of geographic regions when required. We manage 100% of the FileMaker hosting environment, including server monitoring, backup monitoring, data restores (when required), test backup restores, and operating system maintenance.
We manage our own database servers and work on the servers for almost all of our clients at one time or another. Some clients have excellent IT support and well-designed disaster management plans and others have very little of either.
